Global Partner

Nine years with a Polish brand we've never met in person. They grew to 500 wheels a month. We grew with them.

Everything
under one roof.

Reliability begins before a rim reaches finishing. Material selection, cutting, layup, molding, drilling, surface inspection, and dimensional checks are tracked through one production workflow, so the approved sample can remain the reference for later batches. Paint and finishing are coordinated with our long-term partner.

3-level QC system — from testing to final release

  1. Product Testing: project-specific validation scope, internal targets, and acceptance criteria are confirmed according to the approved specification
  2. Every rim: 150 psi factory inflation check before finish or shipment review for bead seating, pressure holding, visible cracks, and tire-rim fit
  3. In-Process Self-Checking: post-molding surface review, drilling quality review, and drill-bit condition reviewed every 30–40 rims
  4. Drilling QC: hole count, spoke-hole diameter, spoke-hole angle, valve-hole quality, and burr, crack, or delamination review
  5. QC Inspection: rim weight, roundness, flatness, hole count, hole diameter, surface, decal, tubeless setup, packing, and shipment condition before release
  6. Project validation: spoke-hole strength up to 350 kgf and complete wheel fatigue validation up to 800,000 cycles for newly developed wheelset programs, according to the approved project method

Design validation.
Before the mould is cut.

DeerCycles uses a three-level QC system: Product Testing, In-Process Self-Checking, and QC Inspection. Every rim receives a 150 psi factory inflation check before finish or shipment review; this is a QC check for bead seating, pressure holding, visible cracks, and tire-rim fit, not a recommended riding pressure for every rim and tire combination.

Rim trueness and runout review — DeerCycles

01

Dimensional / Runout Review

Roundness, flatness, ERD consistency, and runout are checked with measurement tools on every rim during QC inspection.

Raw-rim inflation and tire-fit check setup — DeerCycles

02

Raw-Rim Inflation Check

Every rim receives a 150 psi factory inflation check for bead seating, pressure holding, visible cracks, and tire-rim fit. This is not a riding-pressure recommendation.

Rim outer-width measurement after inflation check — DeerCycles

03

Post-Inflation Width Review

Rim outer-width measurement after inflation. DeerCycles can compare rim width before and after factory validation to review visible deformation, tire security, and overall rim integrity according to the approved project method.

Rim lateral stiffness validation setup — DeerCycles

04

Rim Lateral Stiffness Review

Lateral behavior can be reviewed against the approved rim or wheel-build specification.

Spoke-hole tensile strength test setup — DeerCycles

05

Spoke-Hole Tensile Review

Spoke-hole strength validation can be performed up to 350 kgf, according to the approved project method.

Rim vertical stiffness validation setup — DeerCycles

06

Rim Vertical Stiffness Review

Rim vertical stiffness can be reviewed according to the approved project method and the rim or wheel-build specification.

Test Records

Original test reports, images, and videos retained for every batch. Available to OEM partners on request.

For OEM rim and wheel programs.

DeerCycles supports OEM and ODM rim and wheel programs with a documented testing and validation path. Validation is defined per project and matched to the brand's riding category, tire system, pressure range, spoke count, and target market — not sold as a one-size certificate.

01

Project-specific validation path

Validation targets are set per program — riding category, tire system, pressure range, spoke count, target rider and system weight, and destination market — so the test plan reflects how the wheel will actually be used.

02

QC records for OEM programs

Batch QC records can cover dimensional inspection, drilling accuracy, roundness and flatness, spoke-bed review, the 150 psi raw-rim inflation check, finish, decal and laser sign-off, and final inspection before release.

03

Testing photos and videos

Testing photos and videos can be provided during sample approval, or for a brand's UCI application preparation where required. Original test reports, images, and videos are retained per batch and available to OEM partners on request.

04

Impact / fatigue / spoke-bed validation support

Where required by the approved project method, validation can include spoke-hole strength up to 350 kgf and, for newly developed wheelset programs, complete wheel fatigue validation up to 800,000 cycles (exceeding the commonly referenced 750,000-cycle ISO fatigue baseline). These are current DeerCycles QC and project-validation references applied per program, not blanket product certifications.

05

Third-party test coordination

If a customer's market, distributor, or race program requires external testing, DeerCycles can discuss the required standard, scope, and documentation path before production. EN/ISO-related testing requirements can be reviewed for the project; the specific scope is agreed per program.

06

UCI application documentation support

For race-focused OEM programs, DeerCycles can support brand customers during the UCI approval preparation stage with documentation for the customer's own UCI application.

UCI application support

For race-focused OEM wheel or rim programs, DeerCycles can support brand customers during the UCI approval preparation stage. We can provide product specifications, rim drawings, QC records, testing photos, and testing videos where required, so the brand can submit the correct documentation for its own UCI application. Final approval depends on UCI review and the customer's submitted product program.

Weight versions.

Toray prepreg options include T700, T800, and T1000. Fiber orientation, layup schedule, and weight-version direction are reviewed per mold and project target, helping keep weight and stiffness consistent batch to batch.

W1, W2, W3, and W4 are selected around the project: riding use, rim profile, target weight range, stiffness target, tire system, drilling plan, and QC method. DeerCycles reviews these inputs before sample approval so the rim direction is clear before production planning.

Choose a proven platform.
Or build a new one.

Most OEM carbon rim programmes start from a known platform: road, gravel, MTB, 32ER, small wheel, or a one-piece carbon spoke wheelset platform. Each family can be adjusted by depth, inner width, hole count, drilling angle, finish, decal and W1-W4 weight-version direction.

If the right product family is still unclear, use the OEM rim and wheelset fit finder before sending a broad RFQ.

For brands that need a signature profile, DeerCycles can move from reference geometry to ODM engineering, testing, mold development and production under one project team.

We scale
with you.

Repeat-order reliability comes from carrying the approved rim specification, finish reference, QC checkpoints, and packing details into each batch. As a program grows, those records give the buyer and production team the same release standard.

Every rim comes with a 3-year warranty and a crash-replacement programme.

FAQ.

3-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Accidental damage is covered by a discounted crash replacement programme. Warranty applies to the original owner; shipping costs for returns are not included.
Reliability comes from direct project ownership and repeatable manufacturing control: founder-led communication, in-house layup, hot press molding, CNC drilling, a 3-level QC system, 150 psi factory inflation checks on every rim, spoke-hole strength validation up to 350 kgf, complete wheel fatigue validation up to 800,000 cycles for newly developed wheelset programs, drilling quality review every 30–40 rims, production records, and senior management sign-off before shipment. The 150 psi check is a factory QC check, not a recommended riding pressure for every rim and tire system.
W1, W2, W3, and W4 are DeerCycles weight-version options used during project discussion. Buyers can share the application, rim size, target weight range, tire system, spoke count, drilling plan, and QC expectations; DeerCycles then matches the suitable weight version and layup direction before sample approval.
We manufacture road, all-road, gravel, mountain, 32ER gravel, 32ER MTB, small-wheel, carbon disc wheel and one-piece carbon spoke wheelset platforms. For custom projects, we can start from your target profile, weight, inner width and riding category.
Use the OEM rim and wheelset fit finder first. It helps route unclear road, gravel, MTB, 32ER, small-wheel, one-piece wheelset, quantity, and RFQ path questions before you request a final quote.
Typical production lead time is 15–25 working days after order confirmation, depending on model, finish, quantity, and approval status. Painting, decals, final QC, and shipping time are agreed for each order.
Sample orders are supported. We work with brands placing their first sample order and those planning larger OEM carbon rim production runs. Volume pricing applies at higher quantities; please contact us for project-specific pricing.
Bank transfer (T/T) is the standard method for production orders, normally with a deposit and balance before shipment. PayPal can be used at the sample stage where convenient. Final payment terms are confirmed per project; contact us to discuss your order.
Yes. We can apply approved artwork through decal, paint, or finish-specific marking options depending on rim finish and project requirements. Artwork, logo, and packaging details are confirmed before production.

Yes. We build complete carbon wheels for road, gravel, cyclocross, and mountain bike. Specify your hub, spoke, and nipple preferences, or ask us to recommend based on your intended use and price point.
DeerCycles supports brand customers during the UCI approval preparation stage rather than selling UCI-approved products. For race-focused OEM programs, we can provide product specifications, rim drawings, QC records, and testing photos and videos where required, so the brand can submit the correct documentation for its own UCI application. Final approval depends on UCI review and the customer's submitted product program.
Validation is defined per project and matched to riding category, tire system, pressure range, spoke count, and target market. Where required by the approved project method, it can include dimensional and roundness/flatness review, the 150 psi raw-rim inflation check, spoke-hole strength up to 350 kgf, and, for newly developed wheelset programs, complete wheel fatigue validation up to 800,000 cycles. These are current DeerCycles QC and project-validation references, not blanket product certifications. Original test reports, images, and videos are retained per batch and available to OEM partners on request.
